Surviving Second Semester;
Hey Guys
>>> It's Madison here./ So my second semester starts this coming monday. oh god, I think I just got the chills. Anyways, I'm going to give you tips so that you can ace your second semester but while having FUN. leggo'

#1) Actually do your Homework. Yeah, last year I totally bombed this because I thought " What the heck, homeworks not even gonna count." yeah, WRONG. It does count, and trust me; you'll want to do it in the long run.

#2) Try Participating in a sport. I did this last year during second semester and it actually helped with my grades because at my school if you're playing a sport and you get bad grades... oh my. you're off the team. done. So thaat gave me some motivation :)

#3) Don't listen to all the gossip. Seriously,this is the time of the the year where peoples relationships are ending.. people are splitting apart. yadadya, so there's bound to be drama. Honestly, at my school girls will do/say anything that will get them higher on the totem pole. Just don't listen. they're losers (haha)

#4) Get Enough Sleep. Yeah.. I have a few "aqquiantances" that uh, well lets just say party til the sun dont shine. haha, don't do that. Just don't. no sleep= bad grades, which equals no college which equals..... no money. Dang, I could go on forever. But I'm not, you guys have a life.

#5) Take It Day By Day. If you're worrying the whole week about a big math test o/s you're not going to get very far. So just calm down, and breathe. breathing helps, I swear. Scouts Honor

#6) DON'T GIVE UP
>>> I know you might feel like it's the end of the world and you just hate school so much and that you just wanna quit everything. Well, did Obama quit for his job? heheheh..... NO. Or did he?...
No, but seriously. don't quit :)

Stay Strong, and carry on girls. I hope you have a great semester/ rest of the school year.

How to achieve the messy bun♥

How to achieve the messy bun♥
Okay, so I have wavy hair and I ALWAYS wear my hair in a messy bun. Because of that, I have seriously mastered it so all my friends are like; how do you get it to look so good? And all it takes is practice. pinky promise(: I'm going to show you my own secret tips and tricks to achieving that bun and also show you other different bun styles you can try.

#1) Get your supplies ready. You will need a ponytail, some hairspray, and a brush/comb.

#2) Brush your hair out completely. You don't want any knots in your hair or else the back will look bad.

#3) I usually wet my hair before doing my messy bun but that's completely optional. If you don't want to wet your hair then just skip this step bro.

#4) Now, put your ponytail on your wrist and flip your head over. Gather all of your hair and flip your head back up then tie. I usually wear one of those thin black scunci headbands when I do this look but whatever floats your sailboat(:

#5) Now put some hairspray on ittttt. That way your look will stay for the rest of the day.

#6) TA-DA! You have now achieved the messy bun.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The Classic l o w bun. ( 1st picture)

#1) Brush your hair real good.

#2) Gather your hair in the back as if you were going to do a low ponytail but then make a bun.

#3) Hairspray. And It's about as easy as that/ And you can even add a little braid on the side if you would like.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope I helped you guys and if you have any questions drop them in the comment box(:

How to apply eyeliner♥

How to apply eyeliner♥
So, this has been requested a million times. And guess what? I finally got to it. So enjoy;

Applying Eyeliner: There is many different ways to apply it, but it all depends on what look you're going for. Bold, casual, etc. But I am going to take you through step by step to show you how to apply different styles of eyeliner and hopefully by the end of this set you'll become an eyeliner boss♥

Casual Eyeliner ( Top & bottom lid) : This look is going to look like the link that I'm going to post below -> http://www.paklinks.com/gs/fashion-and-beauty/180966-eye-makeup-110-print.html

Now let us get started shall we?

#1) Start off with a clean face. Wipe off any makeup that's on there, if you don't have any on, then you're ready for the 2nd step.

#2) Get your hand in a comftorable position and gently stroke a line across your top eyelid. Some people do dots with their eyeliner and connect them at the end but do what works for you. For this, I usually use liquid but if you're a beginner I highly suggest using pencil.

#3) Now this part can get kind of tricky. Now get your hand in that position and "slightly" pull down your bottom eyelid so you can see your waterline. Now gently go across with a PENCIL liner and go as far as you want to. Some people don't line exactly on their waterline, they do it below; but for me I think it looks cleaner if I line my waterline. but w/e

#4) Now this part is optional, but I usually spray mist on my face after I do my eyeliner. It makes it lasts longer. Try it!♥ --------------------------------------------------------------------- Winged Eyeliner o/ the Cat Eye For pic, look at the top left hand corner pic in the set.

#1) For this, all you have to do is everything that is above, but when you're doing your top liner, just make a little wing at the end/ make it longer. ( like in the picture) For this look, you don't have to wear bottom eyeliner it looks better without and with. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Now those are the most common eyeliner looks but if you want to suggest others feel free to do so in the comment box and I will be happy to add more.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Great Eyeliner Products I Recommend:
->
- Stila Smudgestick Eyeliner ( $20)
- Bobbi Brown Longwear Gel ( $21)
- MAC Fluidline ( $15)
- And like, all Maybelline Liners ( $12-20)

Ear Piercings♥

Ear Piercings♥
Have you been thinking about getting an ear piercing? Have you always thought about getting one but felt like you needed to know more about the process and everything else about getting them? Well, if you answered yes to one of these. this is def. the set for you♥

Now, first off. There are different kinds of Ear Piercings you can get; but I'm just going to go over a few of the main ones that most people get.

#1: Regular Lobe Piercing: This is the part of the ear that is most commonly pierced. To be honest, I was like, 2 when I got this done so I couldn't really tell you what it felt like the first time I got it pierced but luckily, it closed up when I got older so I can tell you what it feels like to get it pierced :) Now let me tell you, The pain rating was about a one and a half or a 2. Seriously, It did not hurt very much at all. And this part of the ear heals very easily, but just make sure you keep your ears clean and keep your earrings in for as long as the piercer told you to which is normally about 6 weeks.

#2: Cartlidge Piercing: ( If I even spelled that right.)
Okay, I literally just got this done today :) Now, I am going to say it did hurt a little bit. But, it all goes away in like 15 sec. But it was well worth it because it looks so adorable. Most people get only one ear pierced, but I got cartlidge piercings on both ears. but do whatever you feel is best for you. Now, this type of piercing does take alot more effort then it would for a regular lobe piercing. Make sure that you keep it in for the time alloted and that you clean your ears 3 times a day, and keep it clean. Also make sure you twist your earring every once in a while. ( you don't want your skin to close around your earring/s do you? Ew.)

#3: Tragus: I haven't had this done before but I think it does look pretty cool on alot of people. But I have heard that it hurts like a mother goose so just warning you :) Anyways, this is just a small chunk of cartlidge that is just near the opening of the ear. you can look at pictures on google images if you're interested in seeing what it looks like. This area also holds piercings pretty well.

FAQ's ( Frequently Asked Questions)♥

1: Will it hurt to get my ears pierced?
- It depends on where you get them pierced. A regular lobe piercing doesn't hurt at all for me. Carlidge just a tiny bit more.. but the other. I don't know babe c;

2: Where can I get my ears pierced?
Usually you can get them pierced at Claires, Icings, The Piercing Pagoda, or at some "huts" in the walkways of malls. You could do it yourself, But I would HIGHLY suggest you to only do this if you have experience in this area.

3: Is it expensive?
It depends on the earrings you get/type of piercing. Most piercing places pierce your ears for free but they make you buy the earrings. lol, so technically it's not F R E E. For my cartlidge piercing today it was a total of 54.75 and that was at claires. And I got a 3 mm earring size I believe.♥

4: What types of earrings can I get?
- OH MY,OH MY. LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS. There is so many to choose from. Seriouly. They're everywhere. Just make sure you don't get cheapo ones or else your ears might get infected. Ewwy :(

Got more questions? leave a comment. I'll add it to this set amd answer them :)

Before I end this little set I shall add 3 major things you need to do/know.

1. TAKE CARE OF YOUR EARS. Please Please, clean your pierced ears 3 times a day when you get them pierced. I really don't want you to get them infected. Trust me I've been there. And it hurts /;

2. LEAVE THEM IN FOR THE TIME ALLOTTED. period. no questions asked.

3. ENJOY YOUR EARRINGS! :)

I hope I helped.

For all the curly girls♥

For all the curly girls♥
Hey curly girls. I decided to make this tip since I'm actually a curly girl myself. I've had to deal with those crazy curls for 15 years and now I'm ready to share those secrets that have tamed those curly locks. you ready? let's go. :)

#1: N E V E R brush your hair when it's wet. All it does is rip your hair out/damage it and trust me, you don't want that to happen. But you can still comb it when it's wet, just don't brush it.

#2: Don't use heat appliances EVERY DAY. It's not good for your hair at all and all it's going to do is make those curls go limp and dry. I've been there /;

#3: Don't wash your hair every day. It's not good for your hair and it takes the natural oils out of your hair which you need. But conditioner is your best friend :)

#4: Have your hair trimmed. This takes care of those pesky split ends. And guess what? you don't even have to spend money every time you want to get your hair trimmed. you can do it yourself! check wiki how or even polyvore for tips on how to do it.

#5: Let your hair breathe every once in a while! If you like to always keep your curly locks in a bun or a ponytail every day, that's fine. But try to save at least one day a week to keep your hair down and just let it breathe. ( It will thank you later)

#6: Do the final rinse of your hair with cool water. It will help to tame the frizz once your hair drys and even add a little bit of shine.

#7: Instead of drying your hair with a towel, try drying it with an old t-shirt. It will make your hair less frizzy.

#8: Find an experiences hairstylist. Your hair needs the best care it can get so make sure you find a good hairstylist that knows what they're doing and have dealt with curly hair before. You don't want your hair to be messed up by someone who doesn't know what they're doing do you? no-no.

#9: Try sleeping on a satin pillowcase. this will prevent frizz and any breakage that might happen throughout the night.

#10: E M B R A C E your curls.♥

I really hope this tip has helped you guys and feel free to leave a comment on how you liked it, or any things you would like me to add. bye curly girl :)

Entering High S c h o o l♥
Are you feeling jitters about high school? Well, no need. The Tipsters are to the rescue. wootwoot;

#1: Relax. It's only the first day of school, just stay chill. Trust me it will go by so fast. zooommmmm

#2: Don't get in any trouble. Don't think that since it's the first day you can get away with something. High school is alot different then middle school.

#3: Make good friends with your teachers. When you become an upperclassmen they will help you alot with college and all that other stuff. Plus, It's always good to get some extra brownie points c;

#4: It may not seem like it, but the first week is the most important. Show your teachers that you are responsible, and not stupid. lol, do all your HW even thought you might not have that much the 1st week.

#5: In middle school, teachers were more leniant and you could get away with missing a few HW assignments but not in high school. Instead of focusing on what you're wearing or the boy sitting next to you (though it may be hard) focus of what's on your desk. Trust me, you'll thank me :)

#6: Don't let Hell Cats ruin your days. (mean girls) Just focus on your school work. little story: My mom told me all of the popular girls she used to know in high school; most of them have no jobs, or poor ones and get barely any money. And the so called "nerds" from high school now have high class jobs. Now who's the nerd?♥

#7: Make sure you get a good Backpack. I got this cheap ass one from Target one year and it broke like, halfway through the year. Mines a Jansport and It's amazing. I've had it for like 4 years. Plus, they have Lifetime Warrentys just incase a xipper breaks c;

#8: FOCUSFOCUSFOCUS,and study. Even if you don't have homework, I would suggest studying the notes you took in class that day. It really helps;pinky promise.

#9: Do some things to earn money. I like saving up money so I can get a pretty dress for dances and such. It also doesn't hurt to have a little pocket money ya know?

#10: Be yourself. Don't let anyone tell you who to be.
I wish you the best in high school and know that you can do anything. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't. If they do, they'll have to go through me c;
your friend, Madison♥
